Signed to the french label Fin de Siècle, Paulie Jan honours us with producing Tripalium's first release: TESLA. Mostly improvising live in his studio, the parisian producer has deepened his approach to a rough minimal abstraction, thus deserting explicit synth manipulation mastery shown in his previous records, to retain a still surprising technical plasticity. Indeed using really odd time signatures, the intricate uncompromising rythm compositions always seem to roll naturally and reveal more than they actually show.
Four tracks of brutal, tortured and organic technoid music.
