]]>Klapperstein is a 24-hour long, totally awesome experimental radio concert staged simultaneously around the planet. Streamed live, artists from France, Germany, Switzerland and Tasmania will take control of the airwaves for allotted times. Prepare your minds and ears for a concert like no other: an event truly of the Digital Age, you'll listen to this 24-hour long concert through headphones. This is cutting-edge stuff, people; come along and let us plug you into the Klapperstein mainframe.
Running continuously over the whole weekend, Klapperstein kicks off at 9pm on Saturday. The Wine Bar will be open until midnight so you can soak up some pinot as you listen in (it'll re-open at 9am on Sunday). From 1pm-4pm on Sunday, all ears will turn to the Mona Electroacoustic Ensemble. They'll perform live for us (and they're totally brilliant) whilst beaming their rad music and wild sounds around the world. Headphones will be available, but we'd encourage you to bring your own (earwax cross-contamination, gross).
The Mona Electroacoustic Ensemble includes: Nick Smithies, Matt Warren, Idiot Lust, Michal Mitro, Pip Stafford, Andrew Harper, Patana Beretta and Julia Drouhin.
