]]>]]>DIALÓG 20-40-60 is an experimental Czechoslovak film in three parts, exploring the relationships of three couples from different generations, using the same dialog. It was written by Slovak screenwriter Tibor Vichta, and directed by Zbynek Brynych (Czech) and Peter Solan (Slovak), as well as Polish filmmaker Jerzy Skolimowski.
The first segment, "The Twenty-Year-Olds," directed by Skolimowski, stars French New Wave actor Jean-Pierre Léaud as a rock singer who arrives home after a performance to discover that two strangers have taken possession of his apartment.
The second part, "The Forty-Year-Olds," shot by Solan, is perhaps the most straight-forward one, with the strongest dramatic thread. It features Jirí Holý, Zuzana Kocúriková and Frantisek Gervai.
The final segment, "The Sixty-Year-Olds," helmed by Brynych, may be the most poetic and enigmatic of the three. Comprised of shadowy noirish visuals, it stars Josef Kroner as an old man who seems to be trying to recall memories from his past.
DIALÓG 20-40-60 was made during the Czech New Wave of the 1960s. It was photographed by Andrzej Kostenko ("The Twenty-Year-Olds"), Vincent Rosinec ("The Forty-Year-Olds") and Josef Vanis ("The Sixty-Year-Olds"). The film features a jazz-rock soundtrack, composed by Branislav Hronec, that ties everything together.

Cette version pour un écran se divise en six sections égales. Les trois premières concernent le patient A. Dans la première on entend les gémissements du patient A tandis que l'on voit des rythmes de couleurs pures (ces rythmes ont un rapport avec les ondes cervicales du patient).
Dans la seconde partie, nous voyons «la victime», alors que nous entendons une simulation électronique des fréquences et amplitudes des ondes cervicales typiques d'une telle crise ; dans la troisième partie, les deux bandes-son sont superposées alors que les plans de couleurs sont mêlés avec les plans en noir et blanc d'images figuratives. Les trois dernières sections du film sont dévolues au patient B, le traitement est le même.
]]>Tomorrow Calling (1993) is a short film adaptation for television of William Gibson's 1981 short story "The Gernsback Continuum," from the seminal cyberpunk anthology Mirrorshades (1986), edited by Bruce Sterling, and Gibson's own Burning Chrome (1986) collection. Directed by Tim Leandro, Tomorrow Calling was first shown on Channel 4 in the UK.
