]]>The file on the 3.5” floppy disk is a 170 kilobyte Commodore 64 disk image that can be loaded into VICE, a program that runs on Windows, Linux or Mac, which runs programs intended for old 8-bit Commodore computers.
Half of the tracks are generative and sound different each time they're played. The other half have synchronized PETSCII-visuals.
The digital download contains mastered recordings of the tracks and includes the Commodore 64 disk image (rename the file extension to .d64).
Instructions
1. Download VICE from sourceforge.net/projects/vice-emu extract and run x64.exe.
2. In the dropdown menu, top left: File - Attach floptrik-exe.d64 disk image in Drive 8.
3. Type LOAD"$",8 (enter) wait a few seconds, then type LIST (enter) to see the directory. (Slow down scroll with the tab-button, and stop the listing with Caps Lock).
4. Load the files by typing LOAD"filename",8 (enter), wait until loaded, then type RUN (enter). For example LOAD"OSO",8 (enter).
